Richard O’Hara Retirement Presentation with Robbie Henshaw and Tina O’Hara

Robbie Henshaw was a very welcome special guest at the recent 32nd Annual AIT Sports Awards. 34 sports awards were presented to the students from AIT sports clubs who were active in the 2014-2015 academic year. The full list of winners appears below. The 2015 Hall of Fame award was awarded to former student Rory O’Connell. Rory was Westmeaths first ever All Star winner in Galic Football and he gave great service to AIT GAA also. Due to work committents in the USA Rory will formally be inducted into the Hall of Fame next year. The final presentation of the night was made to Richard O’Hara who retired on the 8th of March 2015 after 34 years service to AIT Sports Department.
