AIT First XV played their final match of the Super 6 and beat Cork I.T. by 50-17. Having won all the matches in the round robin stage AIT finished top of the table and have earned a home semi-final against the team that eventually finishes fourth. There are a couple of matches left before the final table is known but having gained a bonus point in four of the five games played they will have points to spare at the top. The semi-final is due to be played on Wednesday 12th March with details to follow. So start planning now so that you can come out to support.
Next week the Freshers are home to DCU on Thursday 27th (kick off 2.30 pm at Buccaneers RFC) and victory will ensure they also have a home semi-final.
